Take the next step in your horse riding journey with our Saturday Saddle Club at Meraki Equestrian Centre.


Saddle Club is held every Saturday Morning and is for kids aged 6-16yrs that do not have their own horse. This club will allow your child to emerse themselves in the full experience, without the stress and expense of owning a horse in the Tablelands. Everyone is welcome from beginners to experienced riders, our sessions will be tailored for each child’s riding ability.


In Saddle Club children will have a riding session and participate in games that will vary from ground/yard/field games to horseback games. Saddle Club riders will also learn about their 4-legged friends with stable management, learn to look after your pony, tack and gear information and general horse health and anatomy lessons.


Saturday Saddle Club gives your child 3 hours to be surrounded with like-minded kids, where new friendship will be formed and memories made.


Rules for Saturday Saddle Club

  • Helmets must be worn at all times.
  • Flat soled boots, with heel to be worn for riding (no runners / joggers)
  • LONG sleeve shirts and pants must be worn (NO SINGLETS)
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to ensure you are ready on time.
  • Please refer to our cancellation policy if you are unable to attend your booking.
  • For the wellbeing of our horses, we have a 95kg weight limit for riders.
  • A minimum of 24 hour notice is required before booking. This to ensure we don’t over work our horses and have enough staff allocated.
  • All riders are to be between the age of 6-16yrs to participate in Saturday Saddle Club
  • Riders need to bring a water bottle and snack for morning tea.


*Helmets and boots are available in limited sizes to borrow from Meraki Equestrian Centre.
